Remember all the high expectations we had for this year? Even if the market was bearish, I expected some technological breakthroughs to happen. I was counting on Ethereum and/or Cardano implementing PoS. I also thought that the lightning network could be released this year. Instead:

>Ethereum: Casper never happened, can't implement PoS, sharding still a dream
>Cardano doesn't even have staking
>Ripple: we still don't know if it's a security
>Bitcoin: lightning network far from complete
>Bcash: pointless forks leading to nowhere
>Neo: does anyone even use it? Too centralized.
>Monero: worshipped by cultists but nobody uses it. It's just too complicated.
>Litecoin: still irrelevant
>Chainlink: no mainnnet, not even a line of code written for the reputation system
>0x: literally useless
>BAT: no one uses it, still legally questionable to block people's ads
>Augur: product released but no one uses it, too complicated for the average user
>Golem: lmao

It feels like nothing significant has happened this year. The last great technological innovation in crypto was ethereum. We haven't see anything really exciting since then.

Remember when people thought ETH would be 5k, 10k, or even 20k EOY? Kek

the only people that had high expectations for 2018 were late adopters that didnt arrive until after the nearly 3 year bull from 2015 to 2018 was over.

Yup. I spent $100k fiat on ETH at an average of $500 each. I totally expected to be a millionaire by end of 2018.
*sigh*

Yeah, the only thing that I can think of is liquid which is live and only needs exchanges to "list" it.
