I'm not sold on BAT being a viable large scale alternative for digital advertising, but I used to work in that space and most people don't understand the mind boggling amount of money that goes into it.

The affiliate marketers who peddle those ultra-specific t-shirts on zuckbook? Not uncommon for them to spend 5 figures per day. That's one tiny example of course, when you get into the big industries like insurance and finance the numbers are truly eye popping.

On a more personal level, the online ad industry is so disgustingly sleazy that I really do hope BAT crushes it. I've got my 5k suicide bag just in case.
