1 week is too long for a stage, it lasts from 1 1/2 hours to at max two days. Don't do a week of unpaid work

Worked in a kitchen for about a year as a dish washer. Roughly 400 meals a day(lunch and dinner.) I don't mind washing dishes, but the problem was that the fucking commercial dishwasher we had was always breaking. I'd load up a bunch of plates and send it through and it would just shut down. My boss would say "well then fucking fix it." What do I look like, an appliance repairman? So I'd get backed up quick and the dishes would pile up and then I'd get stressed. Finally the owners brought an electrician in. Turns out that my boss(head chef) moved the electrical cords around so that he could plug in his new mixer and just ran a shitty extension cord from the freezer to my dishwasher. The extension cord ran under the dishwasher and sat in about an inch of water, so it was always shorting out. The chef got fired because I could have been electricuted and they blamed him for not being more careful.

Having to send dishes through 3 times to get clean because it's not hot enough to make steam to get the dried food off the plates.

Luckily I only had to spend about 6 months in the pit before moving up to the line. Fuck I do not miss having to pull mats, sweep, and then mopping. Almost as much as I hated doing garbage duty. Oh, and cleaning the food catch was always a delight as well

They are the Taxis to Uber.

Love seeing how NEETs cope with their 400 monthly dollars or whatever. I'm actually one of the people who manage pensions and neetbux in Norway. Pushed out pensions this morning, gonna start on the NEETs next, they get theirs on the 25th each month here in Norway.

Being a public sector accountant over here is about the same as no job, in terms of workload.

depending on what state you live in (unsure about EU standards), most states' food safety standards wont allow a restaurant to operate without water that reaches a minimal temp of 140 degrees Fahrenheit

you ever worked at UPS or know any guy who did? All I see on reviews from Glassdoor is that everyone scowls and treats each others like shit and with incompetent nepotistic bosses.
