Every post I see about this assumes that the entire crypto marketcap is going to remain static for the rest of eternity. I agree that $1k link is a pretty lofty dream, but it's not entirely out of reach if Chainlink delivers on its promises and sees wide adoption, and if the crypto marketcap multiplies again. A lot of places were predicting a 20 trillion marketcap by like 2030. Might take a few years, but there's nothing really crazy about something like $50 or even $100 link unless you don't believe in the project or think crypto is entirely dead.

personally with 90k LINK I know I'm cashing out at least 50% of my stack between $5 and $10. I'll let the other half ride just in case, maybe the staking income will be nice, but I fully expect a final stable token price at mainnet no greater than $10-$20, and even that is optimistic.

There is a small possibility that major bullish news happens in the next month that instantly doubles or triples the price, and normies hear about $1000 EOY at the same time and dogpile on because they don't want to miss the prophecy. People are weird like that. If that happened, we might see $50 very briefly. That would be our singularity. I'd definitely cash out 100% if we ever got about $25, that's over 2 mil and I can be comfy the rest of my life just holding BTC and boomer index funds. No reason to stay in LINK at that point.
