Do Your Best: Edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

I saw this article on Marketwatch just now that may be of interest to discouraged red day hodlers. Basically the feller is arguing that, in this particular instance, the deep dip of October was worse than the indices showed, and that we bull now for real and etc etc.

I wrote in last thread that I chose to make a bare ass in the wind YOLO play today that could make or break my whole year next week, dumping semi truck load of cash in to Quinsam Capital in expectation of outperformance on strength of Acreage Holdings public listing (expected Monday or Tuesday). A component of my bet is the timing on a series of dude weed earnings calls:

>Aurora Cannabis pre-market Monday
>CRON pre-market Tuesday
>Tilray after close Tuesday
>Canopy Growth pre-market Wednesday

I think these financials will assuage some of the fear dude weed investors have about revenues in early recreational sales. While these earnings will no include any of the post-legal sales numbers, there will be wholesale product shipments and such, projections, plans, etc. that I'm sure the LPs will do their best to spin to look good. The idea is a few days of bounce and some momentum to help Acreage have a successful market debut.

If I'm wrong I will have to make a couple pretty frantic sell offs to defend against a rout. So... fun!

Should all DARPA funding be cut too then? They spend boatloads on funding octopus camouflage research (will never have military applications) and social behavior of gambian pouched rats (will never have military applications).

TA for Quinsam Capital. I wouldn't have made such a risky buy in today if the TA didn't look good so here's my assessment. Keep in mind, the dude weed earnings need to meet or expectations to maintain this momentum, otherwise QCA is likely to resume its flat bearish ranging.

>50day moving average crossed over the 100SMA recently
>price action is consolidating just below the 200SMA and looks good to break above
>CCI/RSI/StochRSI/MACD indicators look neutral to bullish
>Qunisam held up extremely well under bearish sell frenzy on the dude weed the last two days

I don't agree with that assesment, people like to look for "thats jsut a theory, a game theory" moments when they aren't really there. For one thing the teacher calls both their names on the register and it shows two seperate empty desks. The movie is generaly trying to explore late childhood/early adulthood and it does that by taking the two extremes of that state of mind puting them in seperate characters and analysing them individualy.

or what if feris really was sick and the whole movie is a fever dream from the hostpital btu that's jsut a theaory... aa gajdlahjklfd ajlkdah ejip qheuipqe9p8

They are getting ready to expand the sales force to promote the drug (which is a good indicator the drug is a sure thing, otherwise why bother?). Potential 1 billion in drug sales in 2019. This is a stark different between a dip accruing because of outside factors or a poor quarter (often as the result of outside factors) and dip accruing because there are actual major issues with the company. General electric has been struggling for some time and while i think they will come back in the future, as another anon said "it might take +5 years to break even".

Keep in mind as well that the bull rush is probably over and we seem to be entering an extend Bear market or an outright recession. So choose your investments wisely, ask yourself how these stocks will handle a possible downturn and go from there.

I hate Target. Went in there and it's staffed by a bunch of faggots. Some commercial in the Electronics section playing an ad for RuPaul's How to Be a Faggot book. As normies wake up to faggot acceptance being a mistake, and as Gen Z grows up, sales will drop. People will stop buying as much chink garbage, and I'd bet Target shares lose half of their current value. Does anyone know the legalities of investing other people's money in the states? I wanna ring up businesses in my area and offer to invest some of their money for them.

I would not be giving any investment advice of any kind; strictly they send me money and I invest it for them. I would still probably keep an investor profile though for defined risks and produce financial documents for them to view their portfolio, etc.

As far as I can see, normally I'd have to be an IRA and get my series 65, but both of those explicitly state they're required for giving financial advice (and collecting a fee for doing so) but not for actually investing money.

But investing is gambling.

Day trading isn't the best option for most people, and it certainly isn't unless you're on Robinhood because commissions will eat up the 1-2% gains most people make day trading. Position and swing trading are good provided that one uses effective risk management and position sizing.

How about you try "CDs"? (Certificate of Deposits). You can get 2% or higher APR on an 18 month hold. I think C1's savings accounts or money market accounts are now at 2% APR.
