It was weird last year. There was all the ICO and SIBOS hype but between October and the EOY announcement there was seriously scarce information. Literally all we had was Rory giving rare, super vague and very unsatisfying answers. Sergey was nowhere to be seen, we didn't hear a peep from him.
The fact that LINK held /biz/s attention through that super strange period is testament to how strong the whitepaper was, not just the idea. The first peer reviewed whitepaper, with Ari Juels on board, that demonstrated to anyone who cared to look that they had though deeply about the oracle problem, was pretty much the only breadcrumb we had during that crazy BTC run in which we watched LINK go from over 10k sats to, like, 1500 sats.
What a year it has been.
