Don't look past inland locations. Even just a few KM inland you get much better soil for most things (think kaimais etc) If this shit goes well enough we should even consider buying up swaths of forest for pennies on the dollar and declaring a new national park where we can live as the patupaiarehe, put the land in an unbreakable longterm trust so that if/when this all goes tits up we still have livelihood.

Yeah diving is pretty easy you don't need formal training for it that's for sure, dive computers make it pretty braindead.
