>Uber is cutting out the middle men of the taxi and food delivery industry.
>Bitcoin and some alt-coins are cutting out the need for bankers and banks.

What other parts of the economy are going to be decentralised?

I'm thinking in the future we will have self-serve hospitals where advanced AI scanners can diagnosis you, provide you medicine and perform surgeries with virtually no human assistance.

Decentralised AI on blockchains will create intelligent immortals that aren't vulnerable to computer crashes and memory wipes.

Blockchain technology really is amazing and it's going to change the world. (heheyhey)

>Uber is cutting out the middle men of the taxi and food delivery industry

who is the middle man for a taxi ? when i want a taxi i just go up to the fucking taxi just like how i would go up to a fucking uber you brainlet. if anything i would say Uber IS now the middleman between people who provide a ride and people needing a ride. Same goes for food delivery.

YOU TRIGGGERED ME THINK YOU BRAINLET

You can still have bitcoin debt, it's just that the debt won't create new bitcoins.

In our current system new money is created when interest is charged on loans, 'credit creation theory'.
Also bitcoin doesn't mean the death of 'fiat' style money, many ultcoins with larger supplies will probably be everyday use currencies that's value is tied to bitcoin. So things like houses, weekly rent and 'big' purchases will be bought with satoshis while a coffee will be bought with a coin that registers instantly.

uber is the first step to decentralised passenger transport, the end goal is for a completely automated and decentralized public transport system, that is so efficent that it as a business can cover it's own operating costs.

>>11440066
nigger how is that different from taxi ? taxi is literally a automated decentralized public transport system. I would say that Uber is NOT decentralized since you need the fucking app to make a ride.

>completely automated and decentralized public transport system

Buzzwords to make you feel smart won't work here buddy

But in many countries you need a license to be a taxi driver. With Uber any dimwit can magically become a taxi driver in a few seconds. So Uber might not bring about complete decentralization but it surely brings about deregulation in many countries whose taxi system used to be strictly regulated by the state.

Taxi companies that you would normally phone and ask for one

you got a point there.

first of all you don't need to phone taxis, you can just go to a train station and walk up to one. And even if you have to call them you have the option to call different companies with different numbers. You only have one Uber app.

Why the fuck would I go to a train station when I want a taxi from my house which is 20 minutes away? One uber app but many taxis I.E. many smaller companies. You also get to see how far away they are which is nice.

i'll just copy and paste this since you have a short attention span.
"And even if you have to call them you have the option to call different companies with different numbers. You only have one Uber app."

To use Uber you need to create an account and add payment information. If you call a taxi you they don't need information and you can pay cash. Nobody would know you took the taxi (even the taxi company wouldn't know WHO took the ride only that there was A ride). Also Uber can ban your account. Really decentralized don't you think?
