I found that nicehash wasn't actually paying me the correct amount for my hash.

The reporting and payouts are not symmetrical, also they use old clients and if you update yours every couple weeks you make 10% more on equihash and x16r

Even in this scenario, you could simply refuse to autoexchange and just go based on whatever is most profitable and hold for a pump. Although that method is incredibly unreliable as the market can't always be accurately predicted. You are better off mining whatever is most profitable at the second and exchanging to something like Bitcoin. Then diversify into projects you think are promising and wait.

yeah, this bothered me a bit - i gave it a shot after they had their hack, but i'm switching to RVN and ETH. I want to get back to speculating on ZEC and XRP so i'll need to get my ass moving.

Ultimately the liquidity of bitcoin is irrelevant to me. But algoswitch mining is hands down, the most efficient way to mine profitably. To say otherwise is either ignorance or FUD.

If you could mind the equivalent of .001 bitcoin a day or .00001 bitcoin a day, which would you choose? The answer should be obvious.

it depends on if you're using amd or nvidia cards, they each have different most profitable coins

personally i run a script that randomly chooses from the top 5 profitable coins on whattomine and mines them for a few hours before stopping and picking another, gives me a good variety to sell as they each pump differently

I sold all of my mining stuff at a premium during the peak back in Jan. I have never put fist into crypto and just went all in on a staking coin. I plan on liquidating the rewards every day, week, month, etc in to btc to leverage trade to build up something more substantial. That said, I really miss mining. What are the best cards to get now? I still have my mobo, cpu, ram, and psu

Like I said wait for them to get listed on a decent exchange. Some of these projects you are able to mine hundred's of millions of coins in a week. I'm out as soon as the difficulty makes that not possible.

Extra fans use more electricity, it's best to just use a proper case or no case even so it doesn't needlessly cut into profits. But again you retards mine what ever is best on whattomine so you can't be too smart. The only time you should even consider mining something from there is if you can't find a decent startup or need to cover electric bills.
