there will never be another price increase!
because mining blocks costs don't go up and bitcoin has an infinite supply!

It's confusing because we have definitely been through most of the emotional stages of this chart, but institutional investors have barely touched this shit yet. Which is why any future predictions about price action are bullshit, crypto went straight from smart money to public money and institutions are just getting in now, which is unprecedented. It's anyone's guess how that'll drive the price in the long term, it may just grow a steady 3% per year from here forever as institutions get in slowly, becaues public FOMO money has already blown its wad and may never come back for sloppy seconds.

Public fomo is happening again. I get calls from my family every week asking me how to buy bitcoin.

I think we still can't know for sure what will happen by year end. Bitcoin had a crazy run last year that didn't really start to pop off until mid to late November.

If not this year though, I think next year we'll see similar action to 2017 just at higher starting levels. Bitcoin was $600ish around this time of year in 2016.

With the increasingly limited mental capacity and attention spans of the general public, 2 years is enough time for sentiment to completely reset and trigger another epic FOMO bullrun.

Is there some secret fud channel I'm not part of or are you all actually this retarded?

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/exchange/coinbase-index-fund-reportedly-shutting-down-after-four-months/

We're already past the hype and we're entering the "return to normal".

During this time, people with a shit ton of crypto can crash the market, sure, but that still doesn't change the halvening date it just means that shit is on sale for 80-90% off 2021 prices. :^)

The public are dumb during December/January it was all about Bitcoin with the insane run up, if you asked normies to name 3 coins not from Coinbase they would stare at you blank. Personally I think normies are burnt out by BTC and ETH could be the front runner .

That was the narrative that drove the mania last year. "Hoh my god, XRP is only $3, but bitcoin is like $10000, imagine if XRP gets to 10k!"

Its funny like every one says here "Institunional Investors" are not in yet. Do you personally know one ? And if yes, are you so well with them connected that they let in their circle and just opened about their investment to you?

Of course publicly there are very few who invested within their VCs but privatly there must be a lot of people who made bank.

everyone argues over a chart but fails to acknowledge that we are ONLY 10 YEARS INTO CRYPTO.
So really, you only have to answer yourself this to invest with conviction: did crypto peak and fizzle out all within 10 years, before the inevitable ball of debt comes crashing down? or is 10 years nothing on a technological scale, and the best (or worst, depending on frame of reference) is yet to come.
I believe the latter. Future generations will only be more and more fucked to keep up this existing paradigm. Crypto is an obvious safe-haven from the powers that be, whom do the fuckin' ya see?
Best of luck gentlemen. Buy Monero. Taint will be a big issue in the future.

Not to mention that every country in the world is eating their young financially. The young are increasingly disenfranchised and some of them are brilliant. The upcoming gold rush due to permisionless innovation + ai will unlock an insane amount of value.
