the only good thing about zcash is the tech it uses. it's based on bitcoin's code, and so falls into the same category as all the other bitcoin clones and forks that will end up going to zero.

the tech is just going to end up in second layers or directly on the blockchain like in ethereums case. at which point there is no reason for zcash the pointless coin to continue to exist
