>buy crypto in october last year with just $1000
>turns into $22k in less than 3 months
>instead of selling, I sold all my stocks to buy more crypto
>portfolio is now $5k
>all the stocks that I sold have tripled our quadrupled in value

I wasn't cut out for this. I think it's time to cash out and move on with my life. Some people are just not fit for this life. I no longer feel emotions, or joy, or anger. I am but an empty shell walking upon the earth

Don't blame anyone besides yourself.

I've lost 50% of my initial and you don't see me crying like a little bitch.

You took financial advice from an "anonymous" image board. With risky investments.

I guess I just got lucky, or was smart, idk. I only put in several hundred in December to test the waters, obviously that shit hit the floor in 2018, but I put in 5x that amount when it was at the bottom in June, so now I'm up $900.

just hold, friend. I took it out 2 months ago, and I unironically just started buying again two days ago. I’m early, obviously wish i would have waited just a tiny bit more before beginnin g, but I’m sticking to my plan, which involves continuing to buy in again slowly over the next 1-3 months. But I expect payoffs soonish, which is why I am starting when I am starting. If you can afford to hold it , hold it. Seriously this is good advice. I did analysis on my own trades and found that I would be in massive profit and nearly a current millionaire if I would have made zero sell trades so far and only bought but never sold. (That was true as of 3 months ago, the market is lower now but I would still be massively up). Point is to be rational , be steadier than the market and you’ll do okay. We’re in this together , and we all know that feel. consider yourself lucky if you can afford to keep it in the market and if you have some more run way with regard to time (is you don’t NEED it immediately).
I fully expect bumpy waters ahead. also don’t buy shit coins focus on coins that will eat other coins if things start going bonkers. if you must do shit coins , allocate an extremely tiny percentage of your profile to it , and stick to your plan in the beginning if you bought them. (Which presumably involves you making out okay 1-2 years down the line , not in 2 weeks). Also grow some balls and strengthen your arm muscles you’ll need to hold on to those bags.

I put 700 bucks down for some XLM, 400 down at 16 cents, 300 down when it was at 26 cents because I FOMOd like a moron. Only down 150 bucks on my initial investment. I treated Crypto like an expensive scratch lotto, if I lose it all I'll be fine as I'm a wage slave anyway, if it moons I make a few years salary for nothing. I never would have invested my life savings into crypto because that's insane. I feel bad for you OP but you have only yourself to blame.

You guys think you have it bad? I took out a $20,000 personal loan in March 2018 thinking I was buying the bottom, now I'm down 70% on various shitcoins that I'm pretty sure wont ever moon again. Didn't buy a single BTC.

I have to take it on the chin, the loan will reach maturity at Feb 2021. Until then $400 will be sucked out of every paycheck. I lost not only my life savings, but $5000 interest on top of that, and 3 years of my life.

I have cut all expenses and eat rice & beans, and oatmeal almost every day to hedge for the loss. I think of it as prison. I'll be a free man in 3 years and then I can do whatever I want. But for now, I coal for mine at the gulags.

Just some thoughts:

1. I’m surprised so many of you blatantly ignored the advice „only invest what you can afford to lose“ which every tard on Youtube says.

2. You only lose money if you cash out. Why don’t you atleast wait for new year and see what happens.

3. Assuming you are all between 18-35, you will have enough time to stack up your life savings again.

Good luck, Anon
