That Feel When BitCoin CaSh

>> No.11317007

Listen, there is only one Bitcoin to rule them all, and that is Bitcoin Cash.

>> No.11317019

Let me tell you why that is so. Feel free to chime in.

Bitcoin was always a thing that people laughed at. The people who scoff right now, remember that time you first scoffed at Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash is that Bitcoin.

>> No.11317035

A Fork is a Fork. Remember that there *is* no original chain. Except in the mind of the users. The exchanges are not our friends. At best they are benign tumors that will burst when we defeat the financial system.

>> No.11317053

Fiat Exchanges are Banks. They have to follow the rules of the financial system. A ticker symbol does not define Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a system. Not a "system" like a computer system, but a socio-economical system. It's not a revolutionary fintech asset. It's a new system of building, storing, and exchanging wealth.

BTC fails at this task. This is not surprising, as Bitcoin is a uniquely supreme formula, and others can copy it, but they cannot reproduce the genesis block.

The genesis block, and bitcoin ver. 0.1 contained the "DNA" (if you will) of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not a wallet technology. Bitcoin is a system of incentives between users who use the network and miners who secure the network. BTC breaks that model.

Segwit and Lightning Network are parasites that have entered the code. Thankfully, Bitcoin Cash is DDF(developer's disease free).

If you are actually running nodes and spreading adoption. Great. You are a smart guy (and welcome to work on BcH) But look at it soberly. Does the original raison d’etre of Bitcoin inclue LN?

Will anybody answer this? Crypto-currency. Encrypted money. Bit coin.

When was the last time you spent your money? Not on speculation but on mutually beneficial (not zero-sum trading) commerce?

Bitcoin is Cash.

Real people spending real money.
Not some developers selling snake oil and speculation that it will someday be more than real money.

That is Bitcoin Cash

There is more, of course.

Why not check out SF devcon? or check out memo.cash? Did you hear about the moneybutton?

Bitcoin CASH is how we fight back and liberate ourselves from the MONEY = GOD.

Money needs to prove itself. That is POW. We pay miners with massive amounts of tiny tiny fees. LN breaks this system. In BCH, we welcome you. BCH is your servant.

This is Anreads Antonopolous talking about the latest Bitcoin Bug. He admits it was a potentially catastrophic bug (infinite inflation).

What he fails to admit is that the person who discovered and disclosed the bug was a Bitcoin Cash dev. Instead he tries to flub by saying "it's as complicated as moon rockets! it wasn't exploited so it's all fine!"

Here's the article by the developer who saved BTC from bug. Read it. It's quite amusing.

It is a chain of electronic signatures following the Genesis Block. It's not a BRAND. Bitcoin is not an "asset". It's an economic system.

Other altcoins cannot reproduce the conditions of the genesis block. Other Bitcoin forks can, but as BTG showed, you need a real community, not just trolls, to sustain an economy.

What other community, besides Dash & Eth, can even come close to Bitcoin Cash?

Again, have you checked out the recent developements in BCH? What altcoin even comes close?

This is the timeline we make it.
We can fight and win against the Banks.

In 99% of universes Satoshi just jacks off and never gets around to inventing Bitcoin.

In 99% of the 1%, Banks manage to kill it before a critical mass of people know about it.

We are in that timeline. Bitcoin exists, and people know about it.

Liberty is within grasp. Buy Bitcoin Cash. Spend it, save it, gift it. Love it.

>>11319873
of course segwit adoption increased, the critical bug that bitcoin cash discovered in bitcoin core required people to update their node and bitcoin core are forcing people to accept segwit in the later versions whether they want it or not.

also lightning network is a terrible idea even if it actually work (routing still doesn't work at scale btw). someone else using my channel and deplete it? how fun to discover that down at the pub. and if people turn off the ability to route through your channels then the network becomes dependent on huge backbone hubs. the fact that it's even possible to turn off routing through your channel means it is meant to develop into backbone hubs by design.

using lightning network through a direct channel with whoever you're paying doesn't actually count as successfully using LN either. there's no point then. you could set up a micropayment channel ON CHAIN without using LN. not much of a point with a network if you just set up dorect channels, is there?

another also, updating the base layer becomes extremely hard if a bunch of second layers depend on the base layer. imagine if this recent critical bug couldn't be fixed easily since half the planet used lightning with old-node-stuff locking their btc.

and finally, LN isn't even BTC exclusive. if it actually worked (again, it doesn't) it increases the value of competing altcoins as well so I don't know why BTC people cheer so hard for the success of LN.
