A long time ago, conversations like this were never even possible until you got into the big city. Big city life was the closest thing to the internet that there ever was. When you get into NYC its like you entered a new world. Everything cool would happen their first. Cool people would always be seen just walking around.

That entire feeling is gone now though. Honestly when I got to most big cities I realize that something is a bit off. Things are old and falling apart. Technology is not catching up unless you are literally in time square. Social media and virtual reality in general take a massive chunk of everything that was cool about being in the city. You can see the cracks forming honestly. This has been true for awhile but...

Frankly as technology gets better, I can easily live out in the middle of the nowhere with a small cheap house and fiber optic internet connection and be just as connected to the world as someone living in the heart of the city. I will probably be doing exactly that. Ill use drones to take out the trash and get stuff delivered to the house. Work online. If I want to connect I jump into a virtual world and chat with people like its person to person.

There is literally no financial benefit to living in a place like NYC. If you've spent as much time there as I have, you see how fucking fake and boring it is. Cool kid here, lived in central London for 9 years. Took becoming a total poorfag to realize what the fuck I was doing. I'd seen and experienced everything 100 times over and London was crumbling due to bus loads of Eastern Euro slime arriving every week. It was loud and extremely expensive. Its the most expensive place in the world to live as a matter of fact. I used to never want to move away though.
