I really fear that could fuck a lot of people up if something came out that would lead to a hostile takeover of btc.

I don't like the whole aura around bcash with most of those scammers but I unrionically like Roger Ver, I wouldn't even care if we increased the block size a bit but it's not a sustainable solution, who gives a fuck about using btc or any crypto as a currency when fiat still exists, storing your value and hoarding it is what gives it high price. Spending crypto on the coffee meme wouldn't help with the price as merchants would immediately convert it back to FIAT.

bcash is ready to split. it currently has 5% of the hashrate of btc. if it splits (evenly, it wont) only 2.5% of the hashrate to each chain. This means to 51% the chains, you will only need 1.25% of BTC hashrate.

Bitcoin (BTC) isn't the one risking a takeover here.

Charlie lee doesn't understand that the exchanges can be shut down.
The only way to protect it from governments is to use it in exchange for goods and services, rather than just fiat.

That's the thing, BCH people are happy for this to happen. Adoption is the primary goal, price second.

Roger doesn't understand intrinsic value. If you need X and only so much of X exists, then it has intrinsic value.
