Bigger time frame always takes precedence. Make your assumption based on that. Bigger picture is more important. You zoom in on smaller time frames to pick your entries better so that you're not buying a local top or selling a local bottom.

I usually look at the daily chart for patterns, then 1 hour chart and pick my specific entry on the 3 minute chart

This was my trade on Friday on OGEN. Go to the daily chart to first see why I marked out 85 cents and 1.12. That was the gap. Friday I thought that if it got above that 85 cent level, it would fill that gap up until 1.12. So I zoomed in on the 3 minute chart waiting for a good entry. After it broke above 85 cents I then looked for that support level to hold, and I bought the dip. Sold half my position halfway up and the other half near the top of the 1.12 support. Never thought it would blow up above 3 dollars, haven't been trading past couple of day.

Trading is fun when you know what you're doing.

This was my trade on XRP recently, you can see the little arrows where I bought and sold. Didn't sell the top because I was asleeo but I would have. I trade ETH on lev and XRP. I go 25x on Eth and only 10x on XRP. I basically use indicators that give a buy/sell signal. I use the 4H chart. Is it better to take entry on the 3m in crypto or 15m? Since you said u use the 15m for crypto entries. That’s basically my issue, is taking a good entry. I’m always on point on trend but my entry’s are not great so I get nervous of liquidation because sometimes I’ll buy the middle of a candle like a dumbass, I guess I need to be more patient. But now I understand that I need to be zoomed the fuck in on a small timeframe in order to see where it’s hitting resistance and take an entry at top or bottom support or resistance

What specific chart you use depends on how long your trades are. If youre in trades for days or weeks then 3 minute candles aren't for you. If you trades are a few hours to maybe couple days max then 4h and 15mkn seems appropriate. I daytrade in stocks , my trades are rarely longer than a few hours so I use 3m, but in crypto my trades are a few days so I use bigger candles.

As long as you get the general picture, the specifics don't matter too much. Generally what you want to do is if for example you have a big ass green candle on the daily and you wanna piggyback on that upwards momentum, you Want to zoom in on maybe a 15 minute chart to pick a good pullback to get in on. Don't fomo (on the small chart), wait for a pullback. Fomo on the big chart is fine because there's a bigger chance it'll keep heading up. You just have to pick a good entry on a nice pullback on the smaller time frame chart.
And don't use indicators as buy or sell signals because they lag price action. Buy slightly before the and use the indicator only as confirmation that your thesis is correct.

What indicators do you guys use? Im a TA newbie and liked the ichimoku clouds. I dont trade yet because I want to hone my TA skills before I start. Check for trends in 4H and 1D. Entry points in 15M. But using it for BTC right now isnt helping much, the triangle is about to close and I cant predict if we are going down or upwards, but I feel like any break out will be either a huge drop or a huge green dildo

For time frames it depends on strategy. I swing trade with an average hold period of five days to one month. Daily candles for primary TA, quit consultation on weekly and 4h to double check i'm not getting mixed signals. Ideally the TA should hold up on two of the three. If weekly is screaming bearish while daily says bullish, I'll usually just skip the trade entirely and wait for a better entry point.
