I think Ethereum will be valuable for non time sensitive legal contracts or payroll, etc. It is the most decentralized blockchain and therefore it is very secure and acts as a good arbitrator. It's going down now because people think it has to be a high volume transactions blockchain for time sensitive stuff but it doesn't have too.

I think Holochain will be the true platform for DAPP's. It will create a whole new paradigm and be excellent for all peer to peer netowrks and social networks.

But what will EOS do? High volume transactions that are time sensitive? But what applications will it be used for?

>It is the most decentralized blockchain
How do you figure that? >50% of the nodes are in China and belong to one of two Chinese mining pools. Development/protocol decisions are made by dictator developers who hold mock votes that <1% of ethereum holders even bother to vote on.

>I think Holochain will be the true platform for DAPP's
Delusional

>But what will EOS do? High volume transactions that are time sensitive? But what applications will it be used for?
Gambling, games, social media apps, DEXes, forums

You will find out soon enough anon, end of September, London Hackathon. Can't say more.

Anyone can become a miner on ethereum and it has far more miners.

Holochain will be the future. Full consensus isn't necessary on alot of applications.

Yeah I could see EOS getting some of those applications althought I think social media apps and forums are better for holochain

>Anyone can become a miner on ethereum and it has far more miners.
That doesn't matter. In reality >50% of miners are in China, and belong to one of the two biggest mining pools.

And stop trying to shill HOLO by associating it with EOS.

Somebody sounds mad that HOLO is going to cut into EOS apps and market share...

>> No.11012385

>>11012369
HOLO isn't even a competitor because it's not a real blockchain and doesn't have a real consensus mechanism. The token is useless.

eos is too centralized to be used as a blockchain, and too epensive to be used as a computing platform. they don't have a niche, other than being yet another platform they tricked investors into paying twice for.

maybe we'll see something that actually builds on the current state of blockchain tech instead of just building yet another blockchain the same way we've always done like eos did. maybe then ethereum will get some actual competition in the smart contract space. but alas, eos is not it.

>>11012469
We all know it's not a blockchain but it still reaches a consensus just not a global consensus, which is totally not necessary for alot of consumer applications like forums, social media, and even peer to peer apps

EOS will be a world-wide government chain. With the ability to easily identify the unidentified people in third world countries.
