Main net is not close. He admitted to you all publicly today that reputation had not even been started in the project, but I had heard this from my source 2 weeks ago. He also said that it's most likely Q3/Q4 2019 for main net because of a few stipulations/handshake agreements made with the top partners. From his tone, I could tell he wanted to tell the truth, which is that this project is impossibly difficult and may never come to fruition. 2020 is most likely for main net, if the project is still even a thing by then.

I would say they are moreso the "cooperation" partnerships than full on, this is our product and system. Nothing like that has happened because the team promised main net and a fully functioning network and until giant corps see that, they won't commit.

This. If aggregation is running, initial implementations can use the town crier nodes along with the team’s own trusted nodes to present an initial usable product. Reputation is being outsourced to third parties anyways so the team just needs to build the glue between nodes and reputation providers. LINK won’t be worth anything so long as the network is limited to trusted nodes, but reputation isn’t preventing mainnet launch
