Why do burgers love to brag about the amount of hours they work per week???
In Europe if you work +50/60 hours a week and you tell that to people, you will most likely be told to slow down, that it damages your health and probably makes you more unproductive than otherwise. Almost no one will praise, and in some countries your bosses might even tell you that if you can't finish your work in 40 hour weeks, then you're probably not up to standards.
Why is working more than you should (legally and physically) praised in the US?

Working hours is praised in any developing country. Yes the US is still developing new industries and working on all sorts of projects to stay relevant. Name one European company that has had the success of Amazon, Facebook, Apple in the last couple of decades.

Asia is also fighting to stay on top that is why they have high working hours. With massive companies emerging.

Europeans on the other hand works at decades old companies for a small salary to pay large amounts of tax and one of the biggest contributors to EU's GDP is fucking tourism. While Europeans wagecuck at decade old companies.

Europe is struggling to stay relevant. Even Africa will surpass Europe in the next couple of centuries if you guys stay complacent. The future of this world be successful companies working hard and staying relevant while the European says: "At least I have my UBI! I wonder what new show I can watch"
