I don't use my savings account anymore, but OP when I did have one I made a huge report about over 30 savings accounts and the pros and cons of each one. Keep in mind this was in February 2017 so things are drastically different now but I've found the absolute best savings account out there is Dollarsavingsdirect.com. Interest rate is currently 1.80%, it's all online, good customer service, no jew fees for things like a "dormant account" or other problems. I really recommend it if you're looking for one.

You'd have to be completely retarded to have a savings account in this day and age.
That's a relic from when you could at least get more than 1/100000th of a percentage in returns.
I've got $5k cash in a safe along with my guns, and a checking account with $5k + my paycheck and before next paycheck I reset it back to $5k, with the rest of the money going to stocks or crypto.
Right now I'm about 80/15/5 of safe stocks/meme stocks/buttcoins
I get pretty much 5% return each year, and I'm really happy with that

You're right, savings has been obscured by the financial systems and central banks, but this was artificial, they did this to keep the economy propped up. And you know it cant go on forever, so you just have to be ready to jump back onto something else once stocks and physical cash become obscured again in the coming times (not necessarily soon). 0% interest rates wont be around forever.

I have my entire net worth in crypto and anyone who tells you to do otherwise is retarded. It only takes one good year to outweigh an entire lifetime of ""investing"". People seem to think they're being clever talking about risk management but that belies the fact that legacy financial instruments have astronomical risks. People expect stocks to be stable for generations but the entire modern economy is predicated on the assumption of infinite growth. People are numb to volatility in crypto so waking up to -30% is nbd because it will almost certainly be up the next day. But if people wake up to the dow at -30% they will sell everything because they have experienced nothing but growth for decades.

The boomers have their entire retirement promise in stocks. It will only take one bad day for them to say fuck it and cash out since they don't have time to weather another economic downturn. This will have a cascade effect that will crash just about everything except for PMs, crypto, and maybe streaming services like Netflix since it's a service that saves people money during economic hardships vis a vis going to the movies.

I'm mostly in link but I have some suicide insurance in xmr, btc, ltc, eth. Going all in can totally be worth it if you believe in a project but has the obvious downside of making you entirely dependent upon its success. Imo all of crypto that isn't a scam will go parabolic over the coming years and there's very little that's a bad investment.

Definitely scooped up a lot of xmr and req during the recent crash to diversify. What's your folio look like?
