I used to work full-time at a mid-sized financial media company. I understand their systems, their current staff of full-time developers are clueless, and they have a bottomless pit of dev work that needs to be done yesterday.

The work is boring and freelance work can get lonely and depressing, but the money is good. I can easily find similar clients, but I generally don't bother because their demand for dev work is so high.
