Does anyone else feel fucking broke compared to others?

I feel like my job and every job I look at, even good jobs, say the salary is 100k max. At least for jobs I qualify for. While I know a lot of people who make 150k a year doing the most random fucking shit for some random ass company.

I must find a job like this:
>post what you do

I used to work full-time at a mid-sized financial media company. I understand their systems, their current staff of full-time developers are clueless, and they have a bottomless pit of dev work that needs to be done yesterday.

The work is boring and freelance work can get lonely and depressing, but the money is good. I can easily find similar clients, but I generally don't bother because their demand for dev work is so high.

I don't think I would've been able to pull it off if I hadn't worked in the industry full-time for a few years.

I'm not a sperg, but I had extreme social anxiety back then, so I would come to work early, stay glued to the screen all day (to avoid human contact), then leave after everyone else had left. Then I'd go home, get drunk and hack on side projects until I fell asleep.

It’s not even about happiness or anything like that. I’m very happy with the amount I make right now, but would “””prefer””” to make more.

Here’s more of what I mean:

>work in sales
>make decent hourly and commission
>assist people everyday with different shit
>ask them about what they do because part of my job is finding out info about the customer
>mfw literally half the people I encounter do some absurd job making 150k a year or are business owners
>mfw helped some dumb 25 year bimbo today that was literally as stupid as a bag of potatoes
>mfw she opened a business
>mfw helped some DUMB Mexican the other day
>makes over 200k a year as a mechanic

Idk how to explain it without sounding envious or covetous. I’m just trying to wrap my head around how people manage to land great paying jobs with nothing more than a high school degree

The problem isn't your money anon, it's your attitude & focus. Why the fuck would you focus on something that upsets you? If your salary sucks, MAKE MORE MONEY.

Plus, if your attitude is "I always feel broke", it doesn't matter if you make 1m a year, you'll feel broke because your attitude is broke, that's the problem, money is just the channel that problem is manifesting itself through.
