The Low is either in or will be in THIS YEAR. Is this a true statement based on TA?

This means that this is the year of opportunity you won't get back if 2019 is slow recovery yet always above $10k and 2020 is the year of NEW ATHs.

Conclusion is that 2018 is your chance to get in while you can?

BTC is at a pivotal point where if it turns bullish most will be priced out from owning a whole BTC without doing a bunch of trading and the like. 2018 is really a year to seize the moment disguised in FUD.

doesn't need to be an event, it could be a stop loss domino effect, or people jumping ship after a big sell off, anyway, any rejection shouldn't be counted as trend line which in this case it is for some reason, therefore this crap is biased

btw i had a plan, i wanted to slowly and steadily accumulate up to 2 btc cash out 1 at $100k and the second at $1mil.

however my little brother is getting a divorce. he is in trouble gonna lose the big house if i don't help him out. if i do help him out i can barely get 1 btc unless i break the piggy bank and discard my safety deposit. $100k will not have a significant enough impact on my savings it's mostly to eliminate financial risk holding btc. so now i'm in a fucking pickle. do i dare risk more than i ever thought on btc or let my brother down or miss this clear cut opportunity?

I would but I'm retired and live off dividends so my money is all tied up.
If I was working I would be piling into bitcoin at 6k and below. I bought a bitcoin last year when they were cheaper but sold it in December. I also bought in 2013/14 but spent them. Like 5 to 10 bitcoins. They were like 200 bucks then, if I only knew I would have kept them. Also I downloaded satoshis bitcoin wallet software around 2011/12 can't remember exactly, and couldnt figure out how to get the built in miner to work. Fucking brainlet I am. Right now I have zero bitcoin or any cryptocurrency. Oh well whatever.

the bear posting has gotten so retarded, i can't tell if these fags are memeing or they are truly serious. the price of bitcoin reflects the amount of participation in the network. it has been artifically suppressed this entire year. bitcoin is never overalued because it isn't a stock. it's a technology and all technological adoption follows an s-curve. the media have completely distorted this fac, allowing the instituions to buy as much as possible below fair value so they can sell ETFs to boomers and normalfags.

I have been bearish for awhile but I seriously think we sideways now. That means its time to get in. One thing that is kind of funny is that last year showed that the coin didnt really matter. If you can buy 10k or 100k coins of something and sit on it for a year you will probably lambo by 2020...

>> No.10751339

>>10751053

Not enough blood in the streets for me. People shouldnt want to touch any coin not in the top 10 after true culling. Even a handful of top 10 market cap alts need to see some serious pain imo before the market is mature enough for the next bubble. Greedy piggies putting money into coins that have no actual use case need to be slaughtered.

I concede that the next generation of crypto has to start somewhere, but i feel like the market is absolutely inundated with useless bullshit.

>> No.10751785

>>10751775
why monero? its primary value is around money laundering and buying shit on the darknet. not that im against its core values or uses (you should be free to do what you want) but the normies arent going to touch monero with a 10 foot pole.

your rebuttal?

>> No.10751969

>>10751785

It's primary value is providing privacy. It has actual utility in that. Do normies have any need for eos or xlm, or are those just ultraniche coins with hyped up "future applications"?

Monero is basically just digital cash. People generally don't like having their business transactions on an open public ledger. Swiss bank accounts used to be how wealthy people saved and moved money without scrutiny. Monero Allows you to become your own swiss bank account. It goes far beyond just buying shit on the deep Web.

>> No.10751980

>>10751785

Also, i think it's worth noting that when I first got into bitcoin in 2013 people made the same exact arguments almost verbatim against it that you just made against monero - just to put things into perspective.
