Payroll via smart contract.

The lead engineer for FB's blockchain team is an advisor for Chainlink. Facebook is building on top of Chainlink's network.

The job offer doesn't mention payroll at all. Doesn't mention chainlink as well, or any closely related topics.
What is the connection of this offer with chainlink?

>> No.10658246

That's not related to the job offer in the OP

I wonder if/how oracles could play a role in blockchain policy/management/accountability and so on... hmmm what to use

You're right. Hiring a public policy manager for their blockchain team that's using Chainlink for their blockchain tech is unrelated. It doesn't at all indicate that Facebook is desperately trying to avoid having the SEC throw regulations at them so they're champing at the bit to release DLT and smart contracts that will self regulate. Nope. Nothing at all to do with it.

Oh, so you can't think of anything and resort to shit-throwing.
Just a regular brainlet. Moving along.

You blind plebs don't even see.

Facebook is preparring for the future where they control all discourse. VR, blockchain, social media... My god, normies will be entirely plugged into their ecosystem 10 - 20 years down the line.

Fate is already, I feel sorry for the next generation or kids who never have a chance to discover the truth,

blockchain policy/management/accountability is entirely encapsulated in the blockchain world. No need for oracles.
They need a person to monitor the blockchain space in a public law context because it's a major trend that can't be ignored. The offer is not for any person dealing with implementations.
The OP is interesting, but the inferrence that it has anything to do with chainlink is urine-drinking retarded

can you guys shut the fuck up, chainlink is a meme stop this shit, anyone can build their own better chainlink

Some of you mention the regulatory pressure Facebook is facing as it relates to the U.S. Congress.

Have you at all paid attention to the hell Zuckerberg caught when he listened to the members of the European Commission? Youtube it.

Zuckerberg was sweating bullets.

Facebook will use the blockchain and external APIs as a measure to reduce the scrutiny of govs around the globe. Chainlink by chance helps this in this aspect. Call it luck, as Chainlink as a 3rd-party with stakeholder engagement can fulfill many of the regulatory concerns (read as it concerns Europe).

If he acts fast, they'll sweep Mark's past discretions concerning the privacy of users with a manageable financial fine (at worst).

Screencap.
