I want 1% of the current supply. Working my way up to 30k. I have around just under 13k and looking to keep at it. https://etherscan.io/address/0x7f70aa9b4e847a86230bc2da26b68efb8238ead7#tokentxns

I need 2K to own .01% of the total supply if this really follows in the foot steps of bitcoin I'll be made for life.

If it goes to just $100, not even close to eclipsing ETH, I'll be worth over a million bucks on this small 15k investment.

>> No.10535871

I read in the Discord that they were aiming for a price of $7000 for 0xBTC. They even had a guy doing TA trying to say that this is possible.

We are legitimately dealing with a group of inbreeds here, boys. If you are invested in this coin please go to a doctor, get your blood drawn, etc. Something is not right with you.

Can someone tell me what advantage this token has over something like other PoW coins?

>> No.10536157

>>10535871

Fake news, thanks for the bump though.

>>10535914

Sure. It's the first PoW token on the Ethereum blockchain -- put another way, the first minable token. This means that, unlike Bitcoin, it can interact with all smart contracts, it benefits from all upgrades to the Ethereum network, and you can transfer it quickly and cheaply. Unlike Ether, it's deflationary and hard-capped, with an immutable monetary policy, therefore serving as a superiour store of value on the chain.

Devs are also working on the Lavawallet, which will facilitate the transfer of any ERC-20 token without the need to hold Ether to pay for gas. Ideally, this means we'll eventually only need to hold 0xBTC in order to interact with every aspect of the Ethereum chain.

Essentially, it's Bitcoin on Ethereum. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Check out the Discord too; the community is great and loves honest discussion.

Its a shittoken, nothing more, you can take any token on eth and it has the same purpose than this shit...but muh its mineable...wasting electricity for nothing.

Zero arguments boys, you've really gotta do better. I suggest coming up with some new pejoratives; "pajeet" and "shittoken/shitcoin" are worn out.

Love ya

Thanks. I think a better solution would be to have an ERC20 token representing BTC (i.e. 1 unit of token = 1 BTC), and a gateway that swaps such tokens for BTC. I don't think the PoW is necessary here for the token since it's already sorted out on the BTC layer.

>> No.10536935

>>10536892
The thing you're talking about is called an atomic swap, but such a thing isn't possible yet and probably won't be for at least the foreseeable future, hence the need for 0xBTC

>> No.10537157

>>10536935
I know, but I question whether there's a "need" for this. It is already possible to transfer value through wrapped ETH, which can be unwrapped to real ETH at any time.

Why would you want to make btc whales even richer when you can buy the coin that will replace them?

The problem is that Ether's fate is totally up in the air. The monetary policy is far from settled, it's inflationary by nature, and no one really knows how Proof-of-Stake will affect its supply or price. Not to mention it was ICO'd, with very uneven distribution. 0xBTC sidesteps all of that. (And doesn't require the extra step of wrapping, either.) The contract is locked, it's finished. Ether was never meant to be a currency or store of value -- it's meant to be fuel for the network. 0xBTC does not serve as fuel, but IS meant to be a currency and store of value.

I feel more comfortable putting wealth into a hard-capped deflationary asset with transparent monetary policy than I do putting it into an inflationary asset with murky policy subject to change by human forces.

The greatest problem with all of the features this shitcoin has is that it shares pretty much all of them literal shit.
>shit is even more decentralized
>shit is even easier to mine
>shit is even more secure against 51% attacs
>shit is even more widespread
>on a global level shit can even faster transacted
>and it is even physically backed
Just think about this. Literal shit is superior to this shitcoin.

>prove that this is not the truth and that 0xSCAM is more than just electronic shit
