When I worked for dominos they provided one uniform and thats it. By year 3 of working there my uniform was a disgusting rag held together by hopes and dreams. My bosses boss asks me why I havent ordered a new one, tell him I dont feel like spending money on that. He orders me one the next week. Point is dont ever spend money on clothes your employer requires you to wear, especially if its a minimum wagie job

My boss told me they only buy in bulk so he only paid for the employees if there were more than 10 employees without uniform. Refused to buy one for a year or so. One bad day he got in my face and started yelling about it. Was too young and weak to tell him to fuck off, instead I dodged conflict by walking off and never going back again. My last paycheck did come in without issues and he called me a few times and apologised over text but I never responded.

What I don't get is I'm expected to spend my entire shift standing outside in the cold. They don't want me to go outside which is fucking stupid. At the same time though, they won't issue a real fucking coat. I'd even fucking pay for the coat and they wouldn't even have to reimburse me.

I've been there almost four years and I'll have three weeks paid vacation next year, but if you started shortly after me you need to be there three years full time to accumulate one week of paid vacation. God I fucking hate this company.

Me and 2 others basically kept the store together pretty much, one of the others quit after he asked me why I stopped showing up dunno about the other guy he had some ambitions within the company. He was a scumbag always made people work extra for no pay if he caught them 'slacking off'. Going to the toilet for 2 times a day was considered slacking off.

Man, just get a job where nobody gives a flying fuck what you wear or do, as long as you get the job done. I'm a developer and nobody gives a fuck what I wear. Today I showed up in a wide ass t-shirt and shorts. Nobody even notices. One of my colleagues wears roughly the same, and walks around barefoot all day long. Literally nobody gives a fuck. I make 30 dollars an hour, and live in the Netherlands.
