10518129 No.10518129 [Reply] [Original]

Crypto is dying and fading away. Its on life support. No new money has come. Its sustained by people already in the market moving their funds around. Like dead bacteria repeatedly feasting on the remains of their precursor till nothing remains.
That little pump to 8.5k was an alt sell off. Now that we are under 8k, there is no hope for another alt sell off to power through it like we needed.
What happens when people who sold alts at a loss to ride the BTC train, end up losing it all when btc crashes back to 6k? Depression and capitulation. They leave the market. The cycle repeats till nobody is left but whales with worthless coins and deluded hodlers.

This is the future of crypto. Step outside your bubble.

Somebody needs to come up with a reason for crypto 1) existing and 2) costing so much per cryptocoin and let normies know about it. The game now is all about social engineering through memes to get normie money to FOMO back in so we can dump our bags.

Wont take long friend.
These greedy tards sold their alts at a huge loss to ride btc up. Now that btc is falling they have exaggerated net loss. Just wait till it breaks 6k again. The depression and capitulation sell off from 5.5k will happen so fast we will meet 3k within days.

Thats is when these people leave. Broken. They wont buy the resulting bounce or rally either as its too painful and they wont believe it.

And any fags holding “good crypto” dont delude yourself, it will hit rock bottom too.

>> No.10518273

it will take forever for bitcoin to die though because bitmain mining companies have huge incentives to keep it alive at any cost
idk how accurate 5k=profitability is that i heard thrown around but if that is the case then it wont drop under 5k for many months if not years

Dont fall for that bullshit bull bait.
Btc was profitable when it crashed 90% in 2014. Fucking hell mining difficulty adjuatments happen very fast. Its literally profitable to mine it at a dollar each, the hash will adjust because most people will give up mining it.

>>10518242

Kek tards still havent clocked that alts were only there to extract btc from newbs.

Btc whales and alt creators coordinate in most cases to pump it, or whales just pump random alt to extract.

If btc is overvalued the. Alts reached overvaluations never seen before on earth. And they are still overvalued.

You all got played and never learend to take profits in a huge speculative bubble.

I thought bitcoin only has a limited number so while difficulty will adjust as miners leave, it will still not net in more coins being mined. Worse than that, the coins that are getting mined then will only sell for 1 USD so it will obviously not pay the salaries of the bitmain employees.

>>10518372
altcoins exist because btc has technical flaws, otherwise practically nobody would bother making an altcoin

>> No.10518464

>>10518427

Its economics. People stop speculating on BTC, people unwilling to pay a large proce for it. Miners cannot sell them high. They go out of business. Doffixulty adjusts.

This continues to happen till a peice is reached where miners are profitable as people are willing to buy. Last time it was 200 bucks. This time 1000 bucks is logical bottom

It seems like a lifetime, or at least a Main Era — the kind of peak that never comes again. Crypto last year was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run... but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant...

There was madness in any direction, at any hour. You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning...

And that, I think, was the handle — that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply PREVAIL. There was no point in fighting — on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave...

So now, less than 1 year later, you can go up on a steep hill on Coinmarketcap and look back, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high water mark — that place where the wave finally broke, and
rolled back.

are people here just retarded? do you guys not ever step out of your moms basement , put down the chicken tenders, and open a newspaper or watch news? novogratz just opened a huge btc bank, almost all major stock exchanges are soon offering crypto exchanges, coins like ripple are literally already being piloted by banks, this shit is about explode. if you think its all going to zero or vanishing into nothing, with all of the massive corporate investment that has been made into crypto, then you honestly must have severe brain damage. im taking out loans , and also putting every spare penny i have, into scooping up cheap bags right now. and if it dumps lower next week? then i will buy more.

dude seriously, i know people are caught up in the current price, and the recent slump, but seriously step back and read some of the headlines in the tech world. here let me share a few:

1. coporate blockchain spending in 2018 has already surpassed that of 2017
2. morgan stanely hires new expert to head their newly established "crypto division"
3.canadian crypto exchanges seeing huge expansion

also look a whats happening in venezuela. i mean lots of very good news on the horizon imo, which suggests crypto isnt going to just shrivel up and die. i mean lets be realistic.
