Because a debt based economy is very profitable for central banks and people behind them. It also puts the economy on steroids forcing more gdp.
If we were to go back to an economy with some stable backing currency (non inflatable) the economy would have to change. Also it would incentivize saving over spending unlike our current model.

i think the crypto bubble really shows us the end game and the actual problem with debt based economies. neoliberal and keynesian cucks don't understand that there's more to the economy than just green numbers. when you pump the global markets to skyrocket prices, all you're really doing is fueling speculation, so what happens is there's no actual reason to innovate and improve their products, but rather change shit to stir up news and bring popularity so that their stocks can be pumped on useless speculation alone. and we on biz see this shit first hand too in crypto except it's 1000x worse, all these useless dog shit shitcoins with 0 practical use cases being memed and pumped and you can't really go against them because they will just circlejerk against you and point to their green numbers instead of actually tackling your argument questioning the fundamentals, just like MSM and their economists who are obviously manipulating market sentiment.
