The price of different rarity giftomons is directly relative to breeding. If you pair 2 rare ones it costs 25 GTO and it tells you what percentages you have to get different rarity. Then you can calculate your avarage return by market price, if giftomons sell higher than this avarage breeding price, then it is beneficial to breed them, if not, buy them directly.

Only use I've found so far is that they're used when you train them to a new level(clicking upgrade after clicking on one you own). Guys, I'm trying to figure this out if it is financially profitable to mine, but I hit a roadblock. Every 2 hours of mining requires 1 mining energy, you can get 10 mining energy by sending regular energy to your friends, and other 10 by breeding once a day. 6 miners would consume 72 mining energy per day, those two daily guests are not nearly enough, and I have not received any energy as mining rewards.

Any ideas?

(250 * 0.067) + (2500 * 0.008) = 36.75 GTO

Simply, if epic costs 250 and legendary 2500 then breeding blue x blue nets you every time 10 GTO on avarage instead of buying epics or legendaries on market. You can also sell the trashy blues and greens you get, but their worth is not so much.

Yeah, my calculations were showing a bit over 50% ROI for mass breeding two rares together when including selling the trash but I wouldn't want to attempt it until I had enough saved to do at least 500 breeds to cut down on variance and that's a lot of GTO.

Thing is that you'll be getting a lot of rares from breeding so as long as you start with two pairs of rares(as you can't breed siblings) then you'll hit a point where you'll be able to breed very quickly using the offspring together. Focus on completing the challenges to unlock miner slots, you might even get a blue one for completing the challenge.

For example buy all the cheapest white/greens on the marketplace to get your miner slot for having 60 in a family. Then use those 50+ white ones you just bought to breed for 0.5 and you can get another mining slot.

Involves putting a little bit of money in, but you get coins back for completing challenges, as you’ll even complete challenges indirectly, like the number of trades etc.

You can luck out and get a free blue from quests. 60 arena fights in 1 day will also get you 2 GTO, which if you do that twice will be enough to buy a blue. You'll have to be frugal with the energy box gifts you get from when you initially get a friend though. First day its 5 in a box plus the 2 energy you can get from sending/receiving but after that you can only get the 2. You don't have to grab the box that day though so you can stack boxes and then burn through 30 in a day that you'll be paying attention to get to 60 arena fights more easily. Then use the mining from the first to buy a second and continue from there, it'll take a lot more effort if you do it that way but that's to be expected just like with any freemium game, difference here is that you can actually get money out of it.

As far as the crypto itself its an erc-20 token so there's no actual mining as you're probably thinking of it, they just credit you some for having units mine in the game. You can buy blues right now for like 3.5GTO. They will produce about 36GTO a month. You have to do things to open up additional slots. Some are easy some are hard and/or expensive. Purple and yellows are even more expensive. You actually get less ROI with them. I've been playing around with this for a couple of hours. I dont really think there is much money in breeding at all. It costs GTO to breed and you only have a small percentage chance of getting better miners. The more people that play this the more the prices will drop. The yellows are running like $500 USD right now and only produce like 0.62 GTO per hour. Also as more people mine the difficulty increase so I cant imagine there will be much money in that for very long. Only like 1000 players right now.

Its not odd they are fucking expensive to get. You can roll the dice trying to buy one package for 50GTO or you can breed them but statistically that cost more than what they are selling for. the price drop you see in blues will happen to the other groups as well. and then the mining difficulty will keep going up and up and then everyone will leave because the actual game is boring as shit

Thing is that price drop is already happening in every category including yellows with purples being the only exception. Just seems strange that that one seems immune. As far as everything else goes, yeah I can easily see that happening that's why I've not put any actual money into this and have been doing it free to play, I'll give it a month for things to die down a bit and assess prices at that point to see if its worth it to breed.

One thing that I think you're failing to take into account though is that you do have to reset mining every 18 hours so if people start leaving the difficulty will go back down so it will not keep going up indefinitely, the real question is where that equilibrium point is going to be.

Also breeding is cheaper if you're doing it in mass at current rates, you're forgetting to include chance of legendaries and selling the trash off. The real reason not to breed is the variance if you only want to do small amounts as well as the difficulty in selling all the trash off without crashing the market.

The selling off is what is crashing the price of blues. Next come the purples but like i said it costs a lot more to breed for purples and yellows because you have to breed from stronger players. cost to breed purples from greens is 225GTO @ 2.2%chance. Cost of breed them from blues is 370GTO @ 6.7% chance. Cant breed them from whites. It's already barely profitable
