And with good cause: their main claim to fame was being one of many novelties paraded by a single bank (citi).
Meanwhile Chainlink was the only external crypto showcased by Swift to its 11k banks.

And then there's the fact that DGB is another Bitcoin wannabe, while Chainlink is actually a completely new concept in one of the hottest new areas of finance: mainstream smart contracts.

But guess what; not only did DGB actually moon in the run-up to that Citibank conference, but DGB also actually mooned in December 2017/January 2018, way more than Chainlink.

This is what I keep trying to explain to people. This is why I still hold a little litecoin and bitcoin despite them being absolute garbage.

You XMR fags really need to learn as well. Verge, PIVX, XDN, DASH DESTROYED XMR last year and made more than 100x in gains. It literally does not hurt to put in 10-20% in other privacy coins. I literally put $50 in XDN, which is an absolute shitcoin and I'm now sitting on over $10k worth even after cashing out thousands. Market does not follow logic and does not give a shit about your fancy TA.
