Is not saving for a down payment for a house and gambling all your savings in crypto the ultimate cuck move?

>> No.10193207

I'm in a similar position but already have three properties. I'm going half and half although you may just want to put it all in crypto and hold for a few years if you have somewhere to stay for cheap.

>> No.10193225

Fuck buying property at these prices, I'd rather stack up on ETH before staking.

I sold half my crypto in January to buy a house. Feels good.

Depends on your age and situation.

If you are under 25 and have low expenses then you will not remember the 10k you lost in 20 years.

If it works you got hige up side. But you need to hold that shit and not trade it away like a tard

You've got your house now what. You wake up on your days off and sit in your house, it looks nice, but you're not fulfilled. Its just a house, it looks great, you feel comfy, but you're bored.
Why not risk it all, live an exciting life. If you can buy a house in your 20's you'll have no worries about affording one 20 years later.

OK buddy. My dad bought 30 acres of land at age 27 for about a years salary. That same thirty acres when I'm 27 is 100 years salary.

All those boomers that bought homes for pennies on the dollar and leveraged their equity to buy beach and lake properties are all going into to nursing homes soon, while most young people can't even THINK about buying a home.

Within the next decade the market is going to be absolutely flooded with cheap homes. Banks will go under with how many foreclosures they have on their books. Not like the boomers care about getting foreclosed on, their gonna die anyway.

I'd much rather be in FIAT than be hodling a bag on a house right now.

It's not sour grapes. I'm actually thankful I have this information. I'd be upset if I actually bought a house. Instead I'm stacking crypto until the market collapses and buying the dip.

If you managed to do this back in 08 you'd be set for life right now. Buying a home in 2018 is like buying btc in december of 2017.

What does this story have to do with real estate prices? Clearly the flaw is in the salaries which aren't adjusted according, but people don't care enough about it.

Once again, real estate is limited, population will growth faster than ever and the death rates will shrink to nothing, thanks to anti aging cures, bio Hacking and DNA modification.

Your only hope right now is VR or another planet.

Rapidly aging population controls the vast majority of the suipply of housing. The majority of the population earns shit money and can't buy housing.

We're going to find a new equilibrium and it's going to be real ugly for people speculating on real estate.

I understand that supply of land is perfectly inealiastic but it's price should be driven by wage growth, but it's totally disconnected and the demand is driven entirely by speculation.

idk man americans aren't the only one buying, anyone in the world can be real estate investors.
1-2 years before major housing correction...

but it really doesn't matter does it? As long as the home gets rented out your income or cash flow will not be altered, despite falling housing prices and if anything will bounce back, but ya sucks to not sell the house at a profit.
