can someone show me any proof that this guy has actually been doing anything for Chainlink the past 3 months? the github is only somewhat active by 2 developers which might be volunteers for all I know. Sergey hasn't tweeted or made any appearance that I can find in over 4 months. their website hasn't been updated since April. from what I can see, all signs point to him silently exit scamming us.

>inb4 dyor
I've already looked online and haven't found anything. this is my research

But when Hodges joined the dev team, he witnessed “one of the legendary crypto disasters of all time”, describing it as a “$32m train wreck”.
He was shocked to discover that Sergey – who he claims arrived on location “weighing about 300 pounds” – would not recite words written for the SIBOS presentation: “He wanted to improvise it all.” And Sergey would rarely emerge from his trailer: “They were flying in these hapless [SWIFT] executives to try to beg him to come out of his damned trailer.

“Sergey was only answering the door when the pizza man came. This was the best news that the pizza-makers of San Francisco, this big town, had ever had because Sergey was consuming industrial quantities of pizza while ruminating on what the hell he was going to do when he had to face the investors. I think there might have been an existential terror there.”

>With changes being made to the Whitepaper on a daily basis, actually learning it seemed pointless, so Nazarov had his pages read aloud to him line by line via an earpiece during the infamous SIBOS presentation. Sometimes the signal would be drowned out by a local police scanner, and Ellis would later reminisce about Sergey shouting in the middle of the Presentation: “There’s a robbery at Woolworths”.

There is no proof. We don't know if anything is being done. This is the risk of investing in what accounts to otcbb of crypto.

The tech has potential but don't bet more than you can afford to lose. This is investing 101 ffs

The risk of investing involves the investee offering updates. Giving your money away and investing are two different things. Do you really think anyone is going to give you venture capital without asking for updates along the way?

Tou can go back in the archives from after SIBOS and find it all. That's when the oldfags made it their mission to shill link obsessively and dump on nubiz. The reason it's shilled so much is because a lot of those anons have amounts of Link that put them in the top 200, so they have to be smart about selling off.

Me too. I gave them my email because I'm interested in running a node and I was replied by nothing. Not even a pitiful automated email.
Contacted then through the chat box which claims that they tipically respond in a few hours and gave them my email again for them to reply me. Still the same: silence.

In my opinion this attitude of theirs is very disrespectful towards anyone who has invested anything in this project.

4chan could end up shooting itself in the foot with this carry on. Would be better for people to move to other forums to dicuss link.

There are many stories surrounding Sergey Nazarov’s eating habits – like how his wife used to chain up their fridge and how he used to have friends throw bags of burgers over his house’s fence when he was supposed to be dieting – but none as strange as this one. During coding on Silicon Valley’s “Chainlink” in 2017, a point at which Nazarov had long given up on his ‘leading man’ physique, the increasingly rotund programmer is said to have reached into a pond, grasped a frog, took a bite out of it and then threw it back in the water. Could it possibly be true? Could Nazarov really not wait until craft services could cook him up another cheeseburger? Either way, it’s one hell of a story – but not half as good a story as the one the frog tells

Thomas fidgeted the edges of his napkin as he looked at the camera man and told us he would not be comfortable with doing a video report for VICE. He was interested into telling his story, but would rather have it published in textual form. "They do all kinds of stuff with the videos. Edit it, put other sound underneath it and it looks realistic you know". And indeed, a quick search on YouTube quickly reveals all kinds of creative content regarding Chainlink. From custom made songs to cleverly edited movie trailers with Nazarov playing the protagonist.

What started as an inside joke, grew into disastrous proportions. "They all find out eventually" Thomas said, whilst his frustration is noticeable. "From prospective clients, to strategic partners. They do some due diligence and the Photoshopped material, edited videos and other content is presented to us". The meetings which follow were considered awkward. Fancy men sitting in suits with printed out pictures of Sergey Nazarov posing as Jesus Christ or him in explicit poses with Asian prostitutes. "You know how awkward that is? Even though Sergey does his best to act as professional as he can in those situations, it is not enough".

The crux in all of this is that they didn't mean to have such a negative effect on Thomas and his colleagues their business. 4chan, especially its random category titled "/b/" is notorious for destroying that what they deem unfit to their questionable morals. But this time, it is not /b/ but the /biz/ subsection of 4chan, which describes itself as being about "Business & Finance". "If they knew anything about doing business they would know this hurts us more than it does good", Thomas adds.

>DocuSigns CEO Tom Gonser claimed that Nazarov split the seat on 52 pairs of pants during the making of the SIBOS poc, necessitating that stretch fabric be sewn into his replacement duds. He split those, too. Ice cream was the culprit: Sergey would purloin a five-gallon tub of the fattening dessert, row himself out into the lagoon of SF and indulge.

> No, I wouldn't call him irresponsible, he was more like a predator. He was driven and he enjoyed hurting those he saw below him which included anyone who got in the way of his appetite. After the couchsurfing joke that destroyed my ex wife's family he didn't change. He never apologized, it was just another joke to him. I don't know if he ever believed I was human or just another machine to use to make more food appear. Maybe that was the only problem he considered impossible, filling his stomach. So in that sense he did fulfill his promise to the community or at least to the humans inside the community.

>Even before he let himself get obese and balloon up to over 450 lb., his eating habits were legendary. The SmartContracts.com CTO Steve Ellis claimed Nazarov's diet circa 2017 consisted "mainly of junk food, usually take-out Chinese or peanut butter, which he consumed by the jarful". By 2018, he was renowned for eating boxes of Mallomars and cinnamon buns, washing them down with a quart of milk. Close friend Tom Gonser wrote that in the late 2000s and early 2010s, Sergey went on crash diets before his projects commenced development, but when he lost his willpower he would eat huge breakfasts consisting of corn flakes, sausages, eggs, bananas and cream, and a huge stack of pancakes drenched in syrup. rory claimed that, during the testnet of chainlink (2017), Sergey would have "two steaks, potatoes, two apple pies a la mode and a quart of milk" for dinner, necessitating constant altering of his Lucky shirt. During a birthday party for Sergey --the SWIFT director -- gave him a belt with a card reading, "Hope it fits." A sign was placed below the birthday cake saying, "Don't feed the Sergey." He reportedly ate at least four pieces of cake that day.
