I just read their white paper, it literally states exactly the same thing as a year ago. It gives 2% cashback while previously it would give a return of the total cashback of everyone's spending dependent on amount of MCO held.

The dividend has been removed and the only utility is to buy cards. So when you get your 2% back in MCO the only reasons others would by is to purchase cards. What if no one else wants the cards, the price of MCO will tank to a demand ratio.

To get the highest card you must stake 420,000 USD of MCO. For the lowest it is $400 this is an insane amount to use a credit card. I get one free night per year at Marriott with a $70 yearly fee. While that is just an example there is still very little purpose of MCO tokens.

they did it to be proactive against becoming classified a security. TenX also realized this and followed suit later. Tokencard didnt, and was delisted from bittrex, the only big exchange it was listed on.

Kris explained this very well, and the asset contract didnt make sense mathematically anyway, so it's not really a dealbreaker. If you saw the maths behind it you would agree, it would take MANY years for the underlying asset contract to be worth it's value in MCO tokens.
