I have lost shit loads of money in bitcoin... I should have sold at 20k... I invested everything my wife and I had, and continued putting in enough of our income into it for a long while... We lived very mergerly for a long time. I keep telling myself to hold on to it, and maybe well see 10k+ by the end of the year; and im not in need of cash right now, but... which way is it going do you think?? Get out now? What are you guys doing.

you are as close to the typical retail investor as one can be, so basically as long as you hold - hundreds of thousands of other guys like you are also holding
now that we have bitcoin futures settled in dollar, it's a crapshoot whether we'll ever have another bullrun; but one thing is for sure, wall street won't let it happen until retail investors are flushed out
if you want to weather the storm, you have to be ready to see this go below 1k, or even to 0
obviously this is a tough choice to make... but if you end up selling, you don't have to sell EVERYTHING
reducing your position to whatever amount you'd be comfortable losing is the smart play
