I agree with you on most of your points. But I don't agree with point 6. Bitcoin is great, but for people living in third world countries and living on the margin already. For them, bitcoin is too volatile, same goes for the fees. For us, in the western world, it might not be much but for these guys, it could be the difference if they have food on the table or not. It's going to be interesting to see Reserve protocol launching in Venezuela later this year, and see how this will impact people and small businesses.

Most people have not heard that Reserve protocol updated their road map. They moved up the launch of RSV to Q3 this year. RSV and the app will be launched in Venezuela first.

This is why we need decentralization in our financial systems. Decentralization will bring censorship resistance and a trustless network. Both Bitcoin and Reserve protocol are doing a great job bringing decentralization to finance.RSR has updated its roadmap and will be releasing RSV and their app in Venezuela in Q3 this year.
