Actually, we could say to a certain extent JPM IS the financial arm of the US government. Paper gold and silver are weaponized tools used to guarantee the domination of the US dollar by preventing a re-emergence of old money on the international scene. Making it outrageously volatile, artificially inflationary and vampirizing the physical supply.
And their reward for guaranteeing the supremacy of the USD is to freely meddle with synthetic commodities, to a point where they can freely sell unbacked PMs with a x200 leverage without being worried by the CFTC and justice department.

I wouldn't be surprized in the slightest if one day we discover the main producer and distributor of fake gold is the US government/US megabanks. In a desperate attempt at trying to taint gold's reputation / show how oudated it is as an alternative to fiat (which is funny considering there are more fake US notes in circulation than real ones, often produced by rogue alphabet agencies).
