Starbucks coffee is actually high quality coffee. I would rather have a black pike roast than pajeet dunkin donuts coffee. I worked at starbucks a couple years ago and they use reverse osmosis water rather than tap/filtered water that dunkin donuts uses. Coffee batches are always rotated every hour aka thrown out so new fresh batches can be made. Dunkin donuts is a franchise so each location is different whereas Starbucks is one large organization that has to always meet quality standards.

Cheaper alternative I would say is gas station 7-11 coffee but only from the machines that freshly ground the coffee and automatically discard it after each use.
