"Making it" is freedom to live your life in your own way. It's to escape the proletariat class (the blue hemisphere) and join the capitalist class (the red hemisphere). Depending on how frugal you are, it might not actually take a lot of money to be on the red side. I have about 100 vending machines, and it makes a comfortable $40k-ish a year in profit. I don't have to work, just oversee my employees that make pickups and maintenance. I feel like a millionaire... I go hiking, garden and play video games. Life is good.
