The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

In 2018 I bought 20k chainlink on the way down from the top. Every day you linkies said it was the bottom, and link would reverse the downtrend any moment. I was so determined to never sell. I held for 8 straight months before giving in and selling at 19 cents. I had already lost most of my money.

I sell and forget about it, just holding btc now as it plummets. I go to university and stop checking crypto for a bit.

Fast forward to 2019, I check the price of chainlink and its $2. I watch it tick on up over the months and FOMO in near $8. I made a decent chunk of change, but I have sold. To buy right now would be insanity.

Lesson learned. I'll keep checking in. Can't wait to buy in when it pumps again. Could be tomorrow. Probably not.

The ETH council just announced that they will downgrade Link to ERC-10 on January 1st. It's officially over now.
