Bitcoin is just another fiat currency, so it would be no different than buying one fiat currency with another. The difference Bitcoin has over state issued fiat currency is that it's fully decentralized (unless that Satoshi pulls a fast one). That means the public is monetarily free from the banksters and tyrannical states. It's still fiat shit, but the best of the bad system. Advantage of fiat over trading in precious metals is that it's superior for national and international trade, gold and silver trade only has the advantage on the local level.
