This is too true to life. I got a 3% raise last year. I met with my bosses and argued for more. I ended up with a 12% raise but still make <$25/hour. The company cries poor and while I'll argue for more this year, I'm skeptical I'll get it.

For me it was 6 (sugar free) monsters a day, a keto diet to keep my blood sugar level, and extremely heavy drinking to get me to sleep at night. I got burnout so bad I nearly had a psychotic break, fucked over my career, and had to put myself into rehab just to get away from work, let alone the alcohol.

Then bitcoin pumped and I was able to quit and since then things have been better.
