It's the 100 million 85 IQ'ers that magically showed up in our country that has me dooming, I would be fully negged if I didn't think the marvel of AI wasn't just around the corner which will counter all manner of human stupidity.
Or AI could wipe us all out, or it could be suppressed by Them (although likely not because China, see below), who fucking knows, but at least the possibility of its coming gives me a bit of hope for the US's future since I predict the US will be the first to get a real AI up and running, especially once our spies get word that China is getting close to having their own online, because no one wants that shit. We're going to need our AI to btfo their AI or we're going to go the way of the Uyghurs.
