That is kang Menelik II, Emperor of Ethiopia. Their old silver coins are pretty cool. Tinyboi to the left is an ancient c. AD 330 piece depicting the black kang Ezana of the Kingdom of Aksum (Axum). It's the earliest overtly Christian coinage ever struck.
