Any small red day and you bobos call the end of the world. Just yesterday you were crying about missing out on sweet pumps. We literally closed green for 7 days straight. Naturally, people are going to take profits and sell. Tomorrow, people will "buy the dip"

See you tomorrow when we close on a green day. Screencap this.

>Look at the tech and tell me why the fuck you're not all in.
Immutability matters to me. My understanding of this "Genesis" fork is that it allows Wright to steal coins from addresses that preexist the BSV fork date.

Meaning, all the stuff I bought with my hard-earned cash in 2014-2015 suddenly can be raided by Wright.

Explain to me why I should ever trust scumbag Wright?

Explain why ANYONE should ever trust scumbag Wright?

Pic unrelated, attentionboobs.

>Segwit patched something called asicboost that was pattented by china miners to mine blocks with an advantage.
Wrong.gif

ASICBoost was patent-applied-for by a couple of Yurapeons back in 2013. They sold the application to Terrasoft, which was a company that was going to make mining rigs, Then MtGox happened, the crypto market dropped dead for three years, and Terrasoft went out of business.

Jihan filed an APPLICATION in China for ASICBoost. It wasn't an approved application. He never got a patent. He was just smearing more FUD about it while also trying to steal the IP in case anyone else noticed the Yurapeons' 2013 patent application.

Notably, he came up with a variation called COVERT ASICBoost, which managed to hide its operations. It depended on the transaction malleability that SegWit was going to end. That's why Jihan went on his multi-year FUD crusade to stop SegWit.

Then someone disassembled the firmware on one of Jihan's mining rigs and said "what the fuck does this code do?" and realized Jihan was scamming everyone. That's when the BTC community rose up in justified wrath and told the miners "We UASF now."

>I legit thought BCH was the future too. Great dev teams, consistent progress on tech and huge adoption.
Seriously? WTF were you smoking? BCH has been dying since Jihan first said he was going to take his toys and fork off.

Now that I have your attention, I have a question for you wiser senpais, totally pic unrelated.
What is stopping me to open up shop and start selling crypto (any currency) to normies? Let's say in a country like bong land, where people has more money then sense and crypto is fairly accepted by financial institutions.. could I just open door in a main shopping area and start provide a crypto gate for normies? All those kind of boomers that don't want to mess about with exchanges, or that are totally oblivious to technology but still want a piece of the pie, kind of people..
I would like to be 110% legal and pay my share of tax while charging a little premium for the service, of course. A sort of humanised crypto ATM, if that makes sense?
If localbitcoin is legal (and it is as afaik) would not be possible to extend that into a brick and mortar shop?
Any idea how this would work out?

Runyon started work at Kraken as a financial analyst on 26 March 2018. Kaiser Ng, Kraken’s chief financial officer, was his immediate boss.

Runyon’s first assignment, starting 30 March, was to help with an audit. Ng told Runyon to “come up with anything for the audit list that would satisfy the questions without regard to how accurate the info was” — Ng wanted whatever would “check the box.”

In August 2018, Ng asked if he could use Runyon’s home address as his own — on legal, licensing and banking documents.

Ng claimed concern for his family’s safety, having heard of kidnappings related to crypto exchanges. Runyon wasn’t convinced, so Ng offered to pay Runyon $1,600 a month rent for a room in his apartment, so Ng could use that address on official forms. Runyon says Ng never paid the rent.

The company attorney handling the 2019 rental agreement between Runyon and Ng told Runyon that Jesse Powell, the co-founder and CEO of Kraken, had done the same thing to her — that Powell rented a room in her apartment, used her address on official forms, and never paid her the rent.
