Monero has value because people are willing to buy it. If no one is willing to buy Monero, then it will not have any value. Monero’s price increases if demand exceeds supply, and it decreases if supply exceeds demand.

Can someone help explain to me why this isn’t showing the same speculative excitement as BTC? Is it because it doesn’t have an absolutely fixed future supply? The trackability of BTC seems to give this, another POW coin, and advantage in a lot of real world uses. It’s more like cash than BTC because of how fungible it is. Should I be stacking a shit ton of this?

With a privacy coin thats almost totally anonymous why don't more people use it for actual transactions? I hear there are places where you can exchange Monero for BTC and such such, so why isn't it as popular as it seems?

It's hard finding any negatives/cons about Monero, looking for some serious discussion

As a BTC old timer that gobbled up a lot of Monerujo over the last 5 years, I have good news for you. I soon expect the start of a a multi-year bull market topping out somewhere between 20 and 50k.

I know a lot of 2010-2012 (most of them are not maximalists) guys who silently increased their XMR stack and I believe the price of XMR can't be contained for much longer.

Add to that some "maxi" voices seeking BTC to become a solution for private transactions and you know, that XMR is too damn cheap, even for them.

My theory is that XMR is one of the best distributed coins out there. I know that BTC, BCH and ETH first/maximalists (all the OG's) have XMR in their portfolios. Once re-evaluation will have taken place it'll be a top 3 coin.
