it's funny, i told my friend to stop looking at their portfolio and not panic after they bought into OVV literally at the top in June (on the Monday before it all crashed down). Now after bagholding through that, they decide they should cut their losses now at the end of July and sold at almost -20% loss when they would have broken even just literally 2 weeks later.

if you're buying battered shit like oil, banks, and real estate, just do it in a separate trading account and hide it from yourself for 2 years or something.
i'd be wary of doing the same for airliners though just because of their massive cash burns. That's not something anyone could confidently hold brainlessly. These airliners can literally go to $0 and be completely worthless (well so can anything else, but the dangers for airliners are very very glaring, like literally several billions loss in a single quarter with DAL for example)

frankly you'd got safer bets with similar post-corona upsides to airliners. Stay away from airliners if you're just bandwagonning with robinhood retards
