Its retarded, yes. But if he says dump BA boomers will do it and you will do too, so you get in before the boomers. And others will try the same.

Also he controls a large investment firm. if he says he would not buy XYZ then people will dump XYZ for the same reason expecting big money to not buy in... then he can come in to buy it. Or one of his "definitely not Buffett" companies to please the SEC.
