Think of it like this, anon. With the scientific tools we had 100 years ago, we had just begun to see single-celled organisms. We still hadn't realized the universe was more than 1 galaxy. We didn't just hand each other these old tools back and forth and overanalyze what they gave us, we invented new, better tools, until we can now observe subatomic particles a billion billion times smaller than single celled life. We generated MORE value (in the form of knowledge) that previous to the tool innovations we didn't even know existed. That's how capitalism works, only the tools are ideas and products.
