>every post talking about SAVA
>people posting green wojaks and talking about how SAVA will go up forever

I think SAVA has a very promising approach to Alzheimer's and definitely has the potential to work out well in the long term, but I also think people are being a bit premature with their enthusiasm and not considering a realistic degree of risk
I like SAVA itself, but the way people are talking about it is starting to reek to me

reminder edition

>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy?
Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.

That's true, I can see the value of not holding onto stocks for too long if you're in a situation where you aren't always lucid enough to actively manage your investments

I do still think that holding is best for most people in the long term, though
Most people who put money in the stock market aren't willing to take the time to get good at TA and do the research you need to do on a daily basis to be a successful day trader
Position trading/long-term investing is easier, less stressful, and just as profitable in the long term (usually more, if you're considering the fact that most short term retail traders make decisions based on panic and emotions)

do research on the stocks you buy before you buy them, consider the timing of your entry before you buy in, and always do the opposite of what your emotions tell you to
