How do you pick a wallet?

How do I sell my Bitcoins for the price at which I locked them in my Ledger?

E.g., I put my Bitcoins in my ledger at around 17k last year, and I want to sell them now at that price because I can make some good profit.

I just had a thought, if it's possible to create a crypto hardware wallet, would it be possible to create a regular fiat currency hardware wallet, thereby completely eliminating the need for regular personal banking?

Seriously, why is this feature turned on by default. It's dumb af. Be careful using hardware wallets.

So I was stupid and ordered off of Amazon since it was cheaper and faster. The ledger claims to be tamper proof and I have verified it's authenticity, but give it to me straight.

After I initialized and set my new individual seed, is there ANY way for the Amazon seller to obtain that information? It should be flat out impossible without some sort of NSA level tech manipulation, right?

Are hardware wallets only for the extra paranoid? Does anyone here own one?

What wallets do you guys use? I use the following:
BTC, ETH, LTC - Exodus
XMR - Monero GUI
I keep no currency on Coinbase or any other exchange. It stops me being able to sell when I panic, which I haven't done yet but I'm sure will happen some day.

I plan on getting a Ledger Nano S when it will be worth 1% of my portfolio, but at the minuyte it costs 5% so I think that's too expensive to invest in one.

What do you guys use?

Are physical bitcoin wallets really worth getting? They might not be hacked. But they could be lost/stolen/burned down?
