NFTs kinda came out from left field as the thing that normies fawned over. It was more stupid than the ICO craze. At least with ICOs you were "investing" in something. NFTs were just a wealth flex that was even featured on primetime talk shows. wtf

Why? Because in reality, there is no equation or algorithm that can help you reliably predict or time the market. But if you're good enough at math to make predictions based on some model e.g. Black-Sholes then you might *convince* yourself that you found a way to beat the market, whereas your average IQ midwit wouldn't even try. Then you fuck yourself hard when your model turns out to be bunk.
